The little boy that Kenya and I had the pleasure to spend time with was 9 years old. He knew where Mexico is located. He also knew some of the food we eat (he really likes tacos btw), and the most incredible thing is that he knew spanish!. Through out our conversation we talked about our favorite food,movies, and music. He loves pizza like every kid on earth, scary movies, and rap music. He told us he has a lot of fun in Savannah but that he is really worried to get shot!. That shocked me because I dont think its fair that any kid feels unsafe on their cities. He had to leave earlier than the other kids because he has to walk to his house before the sun goes down. After leaving the YMCA I felt súper homesick because I miss my little brother whos the same age of those kids!!
It was a very nice experience!
